Working with the ropes is fun and sheds a new awareness on your yoga practice.
We will do a variety of yoga poses, standings, forward and backward extension, twists and inversions.
For the curious yogi to learn the yoga ropes for;

* go deeper and develop your understanding of Yoga
The workshops are suitable to anyone with some yoga experience.

Join Carol Bradbury for a 7-week Slow Flow Yoga program with a different practice designed for each chakra.
Looking through the lens of a yoga teacher and Exercise Physiologist, we will explore the chakra system with a focus on the physical body. Beginning with our base chakra, our first class will be a grounding practice with a particular emphasis on the feet and legs. Each week will move through each successive chakra, until our last class where we will recap working through our lower chakras, working towards headstands, and finishing with relaxation and a short meditation.
This is a slow flow class, open to all levels, drop-ins welcome
East meets West:
The chakra system provides a natural connection point for our energetic, mental, emotional and physical bodies. For a clearer understanding of this, we will view the chakras within Western paradigms, exploring anatomical, functional and psychological theories of the chakra system.

Whether you have a regular Yoga practice or new to Yoga, these classes will give you the courage to do Yoga at this time and learn which asana (postures) and pranayama (breathing) can be safely practiced to ensure better health during pregnancy and delivery.
