Kitchari cleanse workshop

Nervous system nourishment workshop
Saturday May 2
3pm-5pm
with Emma

This Workshop shares simple, accessible tools drawn from yoga, meditation, mantra and mudra to settle and restore a stressed or depleted nervous system. There will be a little talking but mostly practice - space to receive, soften and be cared for - a nourishing preparation for the winter ahead.

The Science of Intentional Rest

When we enter states of deep relaxation, particularly through practices like restorative yoga something profound happens in the body.

Your nervous system shifts. Deep rest activates the parasympathetic nervous system (your "rest and digest" response), moving you out of the chronic low-grade stress state that so many of us live in without even realising. Research shows this shift reduces cortisol levels, lowers blood pressure, and decreases inflammation throughout the body.

If you're feeling depleted of energy, experiencing tension in the body, healing from injury or simply needing some precious ‘me time’, make your wellbeing a priority and join Kat Spargo for her ‘Sunday Rest Club’. A 90 minute offering of the replenishing practice of [Rest]orative Yoga.
